Try this Recipe for Peri-Peri Prawns by Masterchef‘s Deena Naidoo

MasterChef South AfricaDeena Naidoo was the first winner of South Africa’s version of the international cooking show Masterchef. Soon after the final episode, recipes from this popular TV show were collected in MasterChef South Africa: The Cookbook.

The Sunday Independent recently featured a recipe shared by Naidoo for Peri-Peri Prawns:

Peri-Peri Prawns

800g medium sized prawns (shelled and deveined, tail segment intact)

10ml chili flakes

3 tbs (60ml) crushed garlic

30ml olive oil

1 red pepper deseeded and finely sliced

1 green pepper deseeded and finely sliced

125ml beer

250ml fresh cream
